auxilary oil port on lt1

Are the only two pressurized oil ports on the LT1 on the top of the lifter valley at the rear of the engine, or above the port above the oil filter?

I am doin a turbo build and i'm having a problem using the one above the filter... engine builder put a brass plug with a square head in. Not sure what sealant he used but it is stuck in there pretty good and now i'm stuck with a round head....

I need to get oil to an autometer oil sending unit, and to the turbo. Any suggestions? I guess i can run them all off the one on the back of the head, but i'm not sure if it matters how many fittings come off of one place?

Center punch and drill, then use a screw extractor.

i'm thinkin that is going to strip the brass. Everything i seem to do with it jus crumbles the brass... drilling is a last resort at this point.

you could try to use a little bit of heat and a pair of vise grips

I did that.. The engine is in the car so visegrips were alittle awkward...

i ended up using those craftsman stripped bolt removers.. the ones in the red case. They work pretty well.. i tryed it on the same fitting a couple weeks ago and it shred it apart. this time i used a much smaller one and BEAT it over it. Then i heated it and prayed.

it worked. thanks for the replys

I am using the one on the top of the intake - One thing I did not plan for is now my gauge does not read properly. I was worried at first, but this actually makes sense. Before the sensor was the only thing there, but now it has two turbo feeds and the sensor, so a lot of the extra pressure is bleeding off through the turbos.
