lt1 wire harness

Will the engine wire harness for a 96 WS6 M6 work on a 94 Z28. I am doing an A4 to M6 swap. I understand that I can make mine work but the A4 harness goes for more than the M6 so I fig I can get the money back out....provide a harness for someone that needs the A4.....not have to splice wires.

Duh, im a little tired. I thought you meant plug wires/harness!
sorry. the main wiring harness most likley has the same basic layout but with the manual trans and ODBII electronics/sensors im sure there not directly compatable.

I'm pretty sure OBD1 and OBD2 use different plugs on the PCM. If they are the same, the wiring circuits sure aren't.

The PCM plugs are the same and most of the wiring is the same. Still, IMHO, it would be better to get a harness of the same year. 1994s are a little different (ex. they don't have the C100 connector that 95-97s do). You would need schematics and have to rewire some circuits to make them work, if you used the later harness.
