LT1 t56 to th350 conversion.flexplate/stater problems
i got my car all back together and im having some major flywheel/starter issues with the car. Its a firehawk with a t56 and is now a th350. I bought a 153 tooth flywheel which i did count and conferm and im using my stock starter that I had. The only way it ingages is if i put like a half an inch of shimms in it. This way, the starter stays into the flywheel and wont dissengage.
edit: I actually found that i had the small ground wire that connects to the block near plug 6 and the purple wire on the same post on the starter. I know this will help me get it started, but i doubt it will have anything to do with the position of it. Let me know what you guys think. I gotta get it off my shops lift! Thanks
