Not worth the trouble or the expense...

If you want a V8 camaro, you will be much better served to sell the V6 camaro and the spare LT1 motor and buy a used V8 car...

LT1 camaros can be found really cheap...
LS1 camaros are coming down in price, but are still thousands more...

not worth the trouble just in harness conversions
sell your lt1 and get an ls1 motor then swap

I agree with ChesireCat, just sell it and buy a V8. I harbored a dream to swap an LT1 into my '95 V6 for 3 years. When I began to really look into what it would take, I saw that it would probably very quickly just nickel and dime me to death. I found a pretty low mileage one-owner '94 Z for around $5,000 a year ago. They should be even cheaper now, especially if you're willing to settle for mileage in the 80-120k range. Best decision I ever made

Yea but puting a v8 in a v6 car you also get the benifits of cheaper insurance.
