LT1 Swap Start Up Problem

Having some troubles figuring out what the problem could be. When I turn the key into the "on" position, the fuel pump will prime as you can hear in the video. All of the lights, radio, etc. work in the car. When I turn the key to start it, it won't do a thing. I have already checked to make sure that I had all of the wires hooked up correctly to the starter. Not sure what to do or what this could be. If anyone could offer any suggestions that would be great. Thank you very much.

You are giving us next to nothing to go on to help your problem. What exactly is done here, mods, year engine, transmission, etc.

What year LT1 swapped into what year F-Body chassis? What PCM is used? What harness is used?

if its a v6 to v8 swap make sure you got the right vats to go with the v8 and if you need a body module and you will probly need to take to a dealer so they can flash you cpu

Re: LT1 Swap Start Up Problem

My car is a 94' but I just swapped a 95' lt1 into it. It was previously a 3.4 car. The 95' lt1 came out of my donor car, so I used the pcm, dash harness, engine harness, and steering column from the donor vehicle as well. It is an automatic transmission. Everything has been swapped over from the donor car. The security light does not come on at all so I didn't think it was the VATS, but I wasn't sure. Double checked to make sure the starter was wired correctly and it was according to shbox's picture.

Re: LT1 Swap Start Up Problem

The engine is freshly rebuilt and I have put a new opti, ignition coil, plugs, plug wires, injectors, etc. I had the starter tested and they said it was still good.

Re: LT1 Swap Start Up Problem

Check Shoebox's body connector interface charts. There may be a couple differences that need to be addressed to use the 95 harness in the 94 chassis. Not sure, but worth checking.

Re: LT1 Swap Start Up Problem

Well I got it to start last night. I tried running a jumper wire from the purple wire to the yellow wire on the theft deterrent relay and it started. So now my question is, what is the best permanent solution for this? Thanks guys
