lt1 specs and info
lt1 specs and info
Iam looking to buy a 93-2002 camaro sometime very soon. I dont really kow much about the cars other than they kick ***. how much horsepower did the lt1 camaros make ? ( at the crank/at the wheels) how much horsepower did the ls1's make ? and if you could tell me the avergae 1/4 mile for both the cars that would be appreciated too. specifications on the cars would be nice also. are they reliable ? do they handle well ? really anything at all would be helpful. I just want to learn as much as I can about these cars. thanks!
Re: lt1 specs and info
most people will swear by one or another. the specs are listed in the site above. the rest is up to personal prefernce. noth motors have their advantages and dissadvantages. go test drive some and see what you like.
Re: lt1 specs and info
hey guy if there is any other way to convince which one to get is if you plan on working on the car yourself get AN LS1 the maintence is not always easier but when come to just changing spark plugs i know first hand i would never let anyone go through that if they didn't know what they were getting into. There are many more mods you can do on the ls1, but if money is a concern i wouldn't get either because horspower is addicting.
i hope that helps

Listen to this man, and you'll know why I never know where my paycheck goes. Personally I like the LT1 better than the LS1. LT1s have more low end torque, LS1s have better top end. I normally drive in the city, so good top end isn't something I care about. LT1s have more of a "muscle" feel to me, where the LS1s are too smooth. Its really just personal preference.
