LT1 Solid Roller Questions! Help Please!

Can you help me out here....

1) If you were to go Solid Roller (as opposed to hydralic roller) on an LT1, what lifters do you use and where can you get them?

2) What Solid Roller Cams are out there?

3) Has anyone done it on a stock bore & stroke?

4) and if so, what was the result?

Thanks in advance....

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert, but why?
I guess it's about the same argument as pulling the A/C.
I dunno, just seems like 1 more pain in the butt to deal with

If you are not going for 700FWHP then run a hyd roller. You can make almost that with a hyd roller.

I run the Crower "Cutaway" Severe-Duty solid roller lifters. Just about any cam company will grind you a solid roller profile on an LT1 blank. I got mine from Comp Cams.

Unless you are looking for 7,000+ RPM and willing to give up the knock sensor, solid rollers can be a "complication".

I agree with the tenor of the previous comments. Modern HR lobes are nearly as aggressive as comparable duration SR lobes. If you are planning on a huge cam (to go to 7,000+rpm) than a SR is your only choice. Otherwise, it isn't worth it.
