LT1 is a small journal crank right?
yeah, I think I know this, but thought I would double check before I started ordering parts LOL!
and just out of curiosity so I know in the future, what are the size of a large journal and a small journal?

Three crank sizes were used on the SBC thru the years. 2.3" - 2.0" combo, known as small, 2.45" - 2.1" combo, known as medium, and for the 400 sbc only, the 2.65" - 2.1", known as the large journal crank.
Since the large journal crank was used exclusively on the 400, we'll dispense with that, at this time, and concentrate of the other two, after noting that since the 400's short lived demise, the medium journal crank, (apparently) has come, to be known as the (new) large journal crank, and will labeled as such here, from this point on.
The small journal crank was used on the sbc up to, and including '67 on the 283, 302 and 327. All 350s, including the original in '67, was of the large journal variety. The '68 on, sbc was of the large journal variety, including (and not limited to) the 302, 307, 327, and 350. HTH
