LT1 radiator removal and replacement
Re: LT1 radiator removal and replacement
Its very easy and straightforward. Simply remove the black plastic support on top that holds the radiator in place. Pull the hoses and drain the coolant. Unhook the fan(s). Yank it out and drop the new one in. The entire job shouldn't take much more then a half hour even your first time around. You will however have to bleed the coolant system when you refill the new radiator. Do a search on here as it has been talked about many times.

If you have a radiator leak at the neck where you fill the radiator and its a
pinhole leak, what kind of damage can be done to the engine / radiator/ water pump / etc. if you keep driving the car in the same condition and you keep topping off the radiator and bleeding it once in a while (doesnt do much good to bleed it..it might still suck air in)
