My 1996 camaro z28 has a new opti,plugs and wires. And once I shut it off it doesnt just die. It chuggs for a sec and the tach needle jumps rpms before dieing. What is going on with my car. Does anyone have an idea.

 

Need more info. Scan it for codes? Did it just start after replacing all the stuff or were you trying to fix that problem? Stock?

 

its not stock. It has headers and cat back exhaust, underdrive pulley,tb bypass. It started doing this about 2 days after changing the opti, plugs. and wires. It does have a small mis at idle. Will be running codes tomorrow.
