Either? You must mean ether.

Check the injectors for operation with a noid light and/or for actual spraying. You don't give any details other than "not running", so there is no real history or background for anyone to form much of an opinion. Wild guessing is not going to be very helpful.

Well, it fires on ether so you must have spark. That means the opti signal is getting to the PCM. Do as Shoebox suggests and test for actual injector operation. There are two steps...one, use a noid light to insure that the injectors are getting th signal to fire and, two, pull the fuel rail...complete with injectors..and see if they actually spray fuel when the engine is cranked. Obviously you don't have to do step two if step one shows no signal...

Have you scanned it for codes?

By history or background I mean what led to the "not running" condition. Still no more details than the first post. The more information, the better the help.

check the codes. If the injector is disconnected and the engine is started, trouble code 18 will set and there will be no injector pulse once the code is stored. If you clear the code the injectors should work (if that was the problem) That is common on cars that had work done and someone forgot to plug injector harness and tried to start the car. Just a simple quick check. fuse 9 and 10 under the hood is the injector fuses

Was there any codes in the computer. Check for power on the injectors. with a spike light or voltmeter.

if it has code 18 the computer will shut down the injectors. Plug everything back in and clear the codes. The car will not start if that code is there. Clear the code with a scanner just to be sure. If the code comes back i will get diag info for you

I think he meant he got code 18 because he unhooked the injectors while using the noid light. Not sure how he determined that, if he doesn't have a scanner.
