LT1 No PCV valve ?
Re: LT1 No PCV valve ?
Actually, it's on the driver side of the intake manifold.
Shoebox has a photo of it.

You were probably looking at the line from the throttle body to the passenger side valve cover, and expecting it to be the elbow that plugs into the valve cover. That line supplies filtered, MAF measured air from in front of the throttle blades to the valve cover, where the vacuum from the PCV valve on the other side of the intake pulls it through the crankcase to remove the harmful blowby products.
The vacuum source for the 95-97 PCV system is the intake manifold port under the throttle body.

It's also shown on the emissions routing label on the radiator cover, again, courtesy of Shoebox:

Thanks you are right on..the PCV valve doesn't stick out as you would normally expect. What started this is that I am planning on installing after market valve covers and studying the valve cover ports required.
The elbow (line) on the passenger side doesn't appear to have any filtering inside..should it?

Re: LT1 No PCV valve ?
on aftermarket VC, get "LT1" specific. The PS one is notched to clear alternator. Pulling alternator apart and rotating rear case has worked for some using non-notched SBC valve covers.
Re: LT1 No PCV valve ?
Actually you need F Body specific LT1 VC..the other versions don't have the alternator mounted differently...
