LT1 Nitrous Help Needed! Understanding Nitrous

I just recently purchased a Nitrous Kit and the way it hooks up is It has the Bottle (w/brackets), NOS lines (w/fogger nozzle), external Mallory 110 Fuel Pump, Throttle switch, Nitrous Gauge, and Pills. Now from what I understood and figured out is that the switch will arm the NOS when you hit WOT. Now the external fuel pump he said he tapped into the fuel lines underneath the drivers door side and it feeds for the nitrous only and the injectors feed for the cylinders. I drill for the nitrous in the front of the intake right behind the throttle body and face it ******d so when the air coming in the TB will pull the NOS to all cylinders. Now, the only thing Im having hard to understand is this, if you have fuel going into the engine already why would you want to add more, wouldn't that flud the car? But on another thought, you have the air coming into the intake for the injectors and the gas in the external pump is for the NOS so I guess it evens it out??? That's what I need to understand if that's how it is. Also I have these combinations for pills: (I need help to understand)

NOS GAS Shot
47 53 100
55 61 125
73 82 150
82 91 175

Is this correct? I have in total these pills: 42, 47, 53, 55, 60, 61, 82 / So I can't run the 150 or 175 shots. Where do I get pills at? So would a 50 shot be like 22 NOS/ 28 GAS ????? Because on the chart you see the 100/125 shot have 6 pt increments in the numbers and the 150/175 shots have 9 pt increments. Does this matter or is it just up to the user and what works best? Thanks for all the help.
