LT1 Intake manifold Prob.

Hi, Hows it going, I'm new to the forums and I joined because I figure you guys can help me out, I had my car up on a lift and found out I had an oil leak coming from the back of the intake manifold and oil pressure switch, While I rip the old intake manifold out to reseal etc. I was planning on putting an aftermarket intake manifold on, I cannot seem to find one, if anyone has any information on the best option for an aftermarket intake manifold let me know, I already have done heads/cam/intake/mass airflow sensor/ etc.

Currently none are available.
Do a search on Edlebrock intakes.....should be out in the next decade.

Ok

What if mine to be ported, or maybe an lt4 intake manifold?

Just have your LT1 manifold ported, the LT4 intake manifold is way too expensive.

Check an auction site. They have many that have been ported already. Unless you like doing that stuff yourself.

Do you have headwork or an aftermarket cam done? If the answer is no, don't bother porting your manifold. Fix your leak and call it a day.

The LT4 intake won't bolt to LT1 heads without machine work, and isn't any different than the LT1 intake, other than the extra metal at the top of the runners to allow it to be ported to match LT4 heads.

I shadow the above posts...if you want to get performane out of an intake for yourself and your setup...DONT do a LT4 mani and port yours.
