LT1 Hub Reinstall Tool -- new link?

Hi guys,

I was looking around for the write up to the LT1 Hub installer tool page, but much to my dismay the link with the valuable information has gone the way of the dodo:

http://members.***.net/gmarengo/Misc/Misc.htm

It's no longer working. Does anyone have another link with the information inside to construct an installer? Autozone & Kragen both don't have the right tool for the job.

Also, question in regards to the tool -- i saw a video on youtube:

Harmonic Balancer Installer Tool Instructions - How to ToolCast from BoxWrench - YouTube

It looks like the tool is threaded into the crank snout (using the crank snout threads) and then is pressed on. What is the difference between this and using the bolt to press the hub on? I've read that using the hub bolt will strip the threads out, but this method does not. Just curious...(i definitely won't be pressing it on with the bolt, just wondering for the sake of knowledge..)

Any help would be appreciated!

Threading a rod into the crank puts the friction on the nut and external threads of the rod and keeps the friction off the crank threads.
