Lt1 Help

ok gys i have finished my 96 camaro build up and paint job. now for my second project. Please dont throw my off this site or bite my head off but last night i bought a 91 mustang coupe.I decided i want to throw my old lt1 engine into it. I will buy a new pcm and engine harness from a camaro since i used my original on my new engine. but can anyone tell me how to power up the pcm from the mustang ignition switch. poss? to run the engine, fuel pump. thanks for any responses

you will need to have VATS programmed out of the PCM, I recommend having the emmissions and VSS codes removed as well, there are only like 4 different wires you need to run(you will need to hook them into the LT1 harness) 12V constant, 12V key On, ground, and a 12V key on for the O@ heaters, you should be able to tap into the original engine harness for these

I recommend running 2 more wires for the diag. connector as well, I would mount it inside, but not absolutely required
