Ok... To start things off When I took the car out of storage the battery was dead.. Bought a new one fired up.. 10 miles down the road the SES light came on
i shut the car off restarted and it was off.. 5 months later when ever the car warms up it comes back on and if im sitting at a light it will go off and the engine tone will change...
The car is running rich Have to clean my tips every day if i want them looking good.
Threw a code key In and didnt get anything
not even a blink like i didnt even put it in but my cooling fans kicked on
And the biggie that im concerned about My oil smells like gas
just changed it 400 miles ago and already smells like gas again
(I came down to o2's and opti)
since last summer some times when I stomped it, It would like almost kill it every once in a while it would happen about once every 2 weeks..
My car still seems to perform good but I need to get these problems straightend out.. help
My Aol is In Kog Nig Row im me if you wanna sum it up not over the board

You can't flash SES light by shorting the ALDL pins on any models after 1993. 94 requires a real "scanner". Without the code, you are just guessing, so getting it scanned would seem to be the first priority.
Running rich can be caused by faulty info coming back from the O2 sensors...
-faulty sensors
-large exhaust leaks before the sensors
-lots of misfires
-leaking fuel pressure regulator
A scan will tell you if its happening on one or both banks of the engine.
I'd put "get it scanned" at a higher priority than "clean my tips every day if i want them looking good".

Computer could be in Limp mode if its running real rich and throwing codes...I've had that happen on a couple cars...in the case of my IROC it didn't even throw codes just ran like **** so I took it to my friend and he checked it out reset the computer and waaalaaa good as new...
