Copper gaskets are not good on a street car. They always seem to leak. I suppose if the head were perfectly flat as well as the deck they might be ok, but from what I have seen they should be avoided except for race cars.

what about lt4 gaskets? when i did my conversion they had gaskets that looked to be graphite impregnated..
