My fuel pump i ordered off ebay just came in. I was iffy about it but it has a limited lifetime warranty. Heres the pics. Not bad for $150 cheaper even if u have to use the old hose.

You'll learn

I really hope that thing works out for you. Don't let a warranty fool you. You can get a lifetime warranty from AZ or Advance. Means little. If you have to replace it every 6 months, what good is it?

The black "fuel line" usually does NOT survive completely submerged in the fuel tank, over time they soften from the external rather than just internal exposure and split and leak internal to the tank causing low fuel pressure.

A friend bought a Walbro cheap somewhere and got the black rubber instead of the clear stock like piece and learned this the hard way.

Good luck. Does it have the country of manufacture stamped on it somewhere?

Hope it works out well. I buy some parts off ebay myself and everyone usally says buy AC Delco its the best always. And they probably are.

But for my money the difference between $22 and $172 is way too big to not at least give the ebay part a chance. I have a water pump and an opti (no-name and chandler motorsports) off ebay and they've been working great. I'm sure there's a huge markup on OEM parts.

Let us know how the new pump holds up!

There is. But some of the cost is to cover development, testing, quality checks, and quality compontnts which need to last through warranty and longer (and maybe health care for the workers). It is a lot cheaper to copy something, use cheaper components, and offer warranty instead of quality.

Anyway, OP good luck with the pump.
