I have heard people say that you need a dipstick special for the LT1. Is this true? Can i go wih the universal dipstick for small block chevys?

I've never compared them, but I do run a Lokar from Jegs (or Summit, don't remember). It's somewhat flexible which helps with headers. It's very short though and the bracket needs some 'adjusting' to use with an LT1.
