Lt1 died and wont re-start... need help

First off I'll give you a short rundown of the car:

1995 Z-28 383 LT1 M6 OBD1
Ac delco opti with less than 2k on it
Oreily's coil with less than 2k on it
Wells module with less than 2k on it
Taylor OVC wires with less than 2k on them
NGK plugs with less than 2k on them

Ok, I took the car out for a little drive the other day and while driving, it just shut off. I was accelerating slowly from a stoplight apx 45mph and it just stopped running. I didnt hear any noises or anything, no missing or stumbling it was like I had just turned the key off. I coasted off the road and tried to start it and all it would do was crank.

Here is what I have tried:

-checked all connections - everything looked good
-checked all fuses - all good
-checked fuel pressure - apx 43psi with key on
-checked for spark at 3 different plugs - all had identical spark while cranking
-checked for spark at coil wire while cranking (with "pen" type light) - had spark
-checked resistance on coil - primary and secondary both within spec
-checked resistance on coil wire - within specs
-checked for voltage on ICM harness "A & D" terminals - had 11 vdc
-checked for A/C voltage on "B" terminal while cranking - had voltage
-checked the ground circuit through the "C" terminal - had ground
-checked a couple of spark plugs on each side - didn't look too bad, cleaned and replaced

I tried to check for codes, but I cant even get it to flash the light at all. It is OBD1 with the OBD2 connector. I looked at Shoebox's site and found a pic showing to use the 5 & 9 pins, so I jumpered them and turn the key on and it does nothing.

Before this the car ran fine except when at the strip it had a high rpm miss. Around 5700 rpm it acted like it was hitting a rev limiter. I never really tried to figure that problem out since I havent raced it for a couple of years, and it runs fine otherwise since I dont see those rpms on the street.

Anyone have any ideas? What else can I check? I am not one to just throw parts at a problem, I want to find the problem first.

thanks for your help...

Ben

When you turn the key on, do you hear the fuel pump? If not, try shooting some starting fluid into the throttle body. If it runs for a sec there is your problem. Just my .02

sounds like a fuel pump. The pressure you read may be static pressure in the lines.

when I put the guage on there was no pressure (it bled off when I was screwing the gauge on) until I turned the key on, then the fuel pump comes on and the pressure imediately went up to 43 psi.

I didnt mention in my first post, but the fuel system is the Racetronix pump, full wiring harness (I forget what they call it), and 42lb injectors. These were all installed new at the time of the engine build (less than 2k miles)

I really dont think this is a fuel problem since it just died with no stumbling or missing. Normally if you run out of fuel it will cough, stumble, etc. as it dies. This was like I just shut the key off. Plus since it had pressure in the line it should be able to start or at least try to pop off a little, I get nothing, just cranks.

I do plan on borrowing a noid light to make sure the injectors are firing just to eliminate that.
