Ok super technicians I need some help on this one.My car starts fine and runs smoothly,but when you mash the throttle the car starts to miss and cut out badly.I can also here like a knocking sound if I stay on the throttle.I'm thinking it might be my ignition coil or opti?Anyone ever have this same problem.It doesnt miss at all unless you really get on it and then it runs like crap.

 

I have that very exact same problem , I'm gonna start with a new opti
and cap/rotor. in a couple weeks from now.

 

I had the same problem and I replaced my coil and took the spark plug gap down to .040" and that seemed to solve the problem. It idles better too.
