LT1 + cutout=

WOW! It sounds so good! I'm glad didn't bother with a electric cutout... I love the way these cars sound open! By far my favorite mod yet! Now I can't wait to get this thing to the track and see if it cuts the 1/4 mile down at all. The best time to date is a 14.18 @ 99.xxmph. What kind of gains did all you other cutout people see? I'd love to get this car into the 13's before I switch from my wonderful 2.73 gearing to 3.42's. Do you think the car has it in it? I've yet to have a really good day weather-wise at the track. Thanks!

Mike

I went from 13.4 @ 101 to a 13.3 @ 103 by adding a cut out.

I hate to say it, but if you already ran those times with a Magnaflow catback, I don't think you'll see much, if any of a gain with the cutout.

I ran .15 quicker with the cutout open. It helps.

Helped me out a lot. I went from a 14.2x @ 98 down to a 13.9 @ 102 and both were with some stellar 2.2x 60' Although the weather was a bit cooler and better on the 13.9. Good luck with it!

when i went to the track i ran 1 w/ just filter and flows (14.07@97.8) then uncapped the cutout and went 13.8@99.xx. i know my car has a 13.6 with practice and some good tires. that last run i had 2 yr old BFG's that look like slicks. your car has enough potential for a 13.9 just work on your 60'. those two runs were in around 9x degree weather( i live in south tx). good luck
