Re: LT1 cooling problems..

Hey guys, so I finally had time to do the radiator yesterday, and I got it all together, and I started pouring coolant in, until it started leaking out of the water pump. It came out on the passenger side. I checked the bolts, and they were loose, so I tightened, and no leaks. Finally pulled it outside, started it, and the passenger side was still leaking. I missed a bolt so, it's all good now. Ran fine, gauge wasn't all over the place (Knock on wood). The loose water pump can explain where i was getting air in the system, so hopefully I'm all sorted out.
I just have a question. Should the radiator be topped off, when the engine is cold?
Thanks again for all of your help!
