lt1 camaro 62k - no spark / pass key burnout HELP!
I got a lt1 camaro with 62,000 miles.. Got fresh opti, plugs, wires, and water pump. Drove it home and parked. Started it up before winter hit and now it wont start... Its turns over but no spark. The VATS pass key chip is burn't a little.. I know it shuts fof the started and injectors.. does it shut down the firing to the coil to? Or is it the opti thats keeping it from starting?

Check the coil itself. Had to replace mine a few months ago, it was arcing in two different places. It was like yours, turned over fine, but never fired.

Alright ill check it out, why do you think that the coil would go after only about 2 hours on it? I will have to replace that 250.00 vats module to wont i?

If it was the VATS system, the motor wouldn't turn at all when trying to start it. Look around the opti/wire connections/coil if you have no spark.

Alright thats what I'll have to do, BUT my pass key does have some burn spots on it and seems to be ruined.. I will have to replace that too correct? When I went and looked at it it seemed to of had alot of ice on the top of the motor, could that be it possibly? Ill check the wires/coil I think you may be right because I just recently had a full tune up including all of those.. maybe the mechanics just left it loose on accident? thanks so much for the information!
