called msd, i believe the tech's name was nathan
he said corona glow is a regular occurance and nothing to do with a misfire
he said the static build up can even build up and 'discharge' much like a traditional misfire arc. but much less intense.
only reason i believe him is because he DIDNT try to sell me a set of msd wires to fix it.
he was more concerned with vehicle grounds and specifically a direct ground from msd box to battery.

hmm, you mention ground issues... I wonder if I run a strap from each head to the chassis this might help?
I dont think this is an acceptable condition, and 99% of cars on the road do not experience this.
