But if it's built right.....he WILL beat up on a lot of mustangs .....and he'll spend a bit more than $3K, too!

Re: help LT1 350

check the site, elliottsportworks.com i got le2 heads, biggest emmissions cam and intake done for 2k including shipping. not sure if his prices went up or not. you would want to use 1.6 roller rockers and hardened pushrods. lloyd is really good at helping out with setup. the cost of headers varies with brands. kooks has one of the best for clearance and performance. my kooks are no lower than stock exhaust. they are very expensive. there are some good headers out there now that are very good and priced good. pasesetters are not what they used to be but work ok. is the 4k including the block rebuild? with what i have in mine i figure im in the 400hp range to the wheels. probly a little less.

Re: help LT1 350

98% of your power will come from the cylinder heads and cam so invest your money there. There's not much point in building a 383 if you can't put a good set of heads on it.

Re: help LT1 350

the 4k is wat i want to put inside my engine, im gonna rebuild it but im gonna get it boarded .30 over and invest in heads, cam, intake sounds like a good idea im not in need of really over 400hp...at the moment the car has headers and true catback and hauls *** so close to 400hp to wheels is good by me.
