Hey check if you have a small hole in the radiator I had the same problem and there was a hole an inch below the the radiator cap (pin size hole)

I flush my coolant without the thermostat all the time. You run the engine and a garden hose. Don't drive without your thermostat though becuase it's bad for your oil.
