depends on what your getting and where your getting it from, you can get one here(OK) with tranny for around 1200 with the harness and computer, but that will prolly be a 100k motor, I would search around craigslist and forums like this you could probaly find one in your area.

thats a great deal, this is just a price from a guy who has a salvage for camaro's in the area, so the motors are gauranteed, and if somethings wrong you can take it back and get your money, could find them cheaper but you risk getting robbed too

I got a complete LT1 motor for $550 the day after posting a Wanted Ad on Craigslist.

It's running pretty good as of now. Didn't know the mileage on it but has good oil pressure and there wasn't any signs of blow by in the throttle body or intake manifold

It's all pretty subjective to where you live and where your getting it. I just sold a complete 94' w/out harness and computer for $350 but there is another 20 miles away that they want $850 for. Keep your eye on craigslist, I'm sure you can get one at a good price....

Without Trans of course!

Pretty sure you meant to say cast iron heads.
