Car wouldn' start. was geting fire but at the wrong cylinder and in no paticular order. i knew it had to be timing issue or distributor. pulled off the water pump adn got to the disributor, and this what i found: a bearing went out in the distributor went out not the cap but the distributor. melted all the plastic. ruined the cap, adn disributor. have to replace the whole assembly. 642 dollars at the local dealer. anyone else ever heard of this or had it happen to them.

thanks
