LT,Off RD pipe, muffler or no muffler sound clips for LT1???
I'd like to hear some. Especially the difference between several mufflers I've heard about and the difference in sound without mufflers altogether. Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention I'm mostly interested in true duals since I'll probably go that route. I plan to get tailpipes that exit in front of the rear tires, just to be a little unique.
See sig for mods.

with true duals you'll want mufflers, its very very loud without them. I drove for some time without with longtubes no cats, and it was open header loud, you could here me punch it from a mile away. It sounds awesome but you must feather the gas as much as possible to keep it down, this cuts in on driving fun, otherwise police will swoon down upon you with tickets in hand. You can get away with no cats since your in Michigan. I like the way flowmasters sound-sounds like a mean mustang. Hookers sound great also. I've had many different mufflers and most create a very bad drone, especially open chamber ones, I've now settled with standard turbo mufflers, which is very quiet on full throttle, so this you may not want. These types of mufflers are the most quietest compared to open chamber or round bullet mufflers, bullets are the loudest since they have the least amount of deadner. Going with side exit pipes is smart, it cuts down on the drone way more than turndowns, and makes the car quieter. I have them and it is great, cause without them the exhaust would rattle the hell out of my interior. You don't even have to exist all the way for them to work great, mine stop just before the lower control arms.
