LT Headers safe?

I have a 94 Trans Am and I am trying to decide between Long tube and shorty headers right now... My question to you Long tube guys is are they safe to put in and not burn up a bunch of stuff? I am probably going to go with either Jet Hot or Hooker. I just want to be prepared for the worst and know what I am dealing with before I go in and install them and it burns all my stuff. Reply's are much appreciated.

No problems here. Although I have burnt a few plug wires. Fire sleeves corrected that problem. Ceramic coated headers will keep the heat down also.

I have the Jet hots and love them. I have had them for just over 1000 miles and have not burnt anything. its no big deal, you just have to take your time routing wires. GET THE LONG TUBES!

I have Hooker longtubes. They were very easy to put in. I haven't burned any wires at all. It's all about using common sense when it comes to putting in longtubes. Relocate the front wheel ABS sensor wires, use heat reflective tape to wrap loose wires.
