lt-4 km

I have a 94z28 w a Borla(2 3/4) y pipe and a Flowmaster catback.I know the lt-4 knock module is less sensitive than the lt-1 one .What i need to know is when you install this is your knock sensor less sensitive as well?I need to get rid of knock retard when running at the drag strip. Will this km help? Thanks for any input!

The sensors are by and large the same. The LT4 should help your problem as long as you have very mild knock possibly coming rom aftermarket valvetrain. I have one and I get zero knock even on 89 octane. Its a very good upgrade.

Re: lt-4 km

The LT4 KM was specifically tuned to filter out the noise signature of the Crane Gold roller rockers used in the LT4 Corvette engines. The liklihood that it will eliminate other mechanical noises or header noises is purely hit or miss. The liklihood that it would allow you to run 89-octane fuel with no knock retard is somewhere between "none" and "0".
