Where can you get em for 100 bucks. SPDC list em for 217.85.. Is there somewhere online that they can be found cheaper? LOL my bad I was looking at the race lifter...

LS-7 lifters (12499225)

racing engine lifters (88958689)

you can get them from gmpartsdirect.com for 99.74... i plan on buying some, have a quick question myself though will i be ok to reuse the old retainer/guidplates from the old lifters and the spider tray or whatever you wanna call it

you can use all the stock hardware such as the retainer for these. they are the same deminsions as stock lifters. side by side you can't really tell any differences

do have one other question...
would the preload be the same as the stock lt1 lifters??

I have the ls7 lifters in my stock w/rr lt1 they fit perfectly and work fine

I got the Caddi Lifters in my LE2 setup, they work great defiantly require a shorter push rod. I am using those lifters with the impala head gasket heads and a 7.150 push rod and could probably even step down to a 7.10

they are the same dimensions so why would you need a shorter pushrod, i think you needed a shorter pushrod due to milled heads and smaller head gasket

I have the LS7 lifters in mine.
They work very well. I reused the old spider retainer and plates. they were in good shape for me.
The dimmensions are the same for the lt/ls1. From what I am told, the LS7 has the updated oiling pattern like the "Caddy" lifters but do not have the ceramic internals that make them lighter.
Don't forget what the redline for the LS7 motor is.
