no machining but it would be a good idea to check your pushrod length

I have a bad comp r lifter. I also have some new LS7 lifters to replace the comp r lifters. I plan on measuring the depth of the pushrod cup to determine if there is a difference. I have seen the posts/arguing on here so maybe we can put this to rest with an answer.

that would be great i would love to know for sure, like i have said in the past i did not measure the difference but i can tell you they visually "look" different in the cup area, otherwise they are exactly the same. i usually just tell people to measure just to be sure although i believe the difference, if any, will not be large enough to require a difference in pushrod length

LS7 lifters?? Aren't these the ones that let the new Vette rev to 7200-7500 or something like that?? I'll give you a hundred for them.

I have a ton of lifters. Most all of the made. Maybe later I will measure a few.

i CAN tell you that early LS1s used LT1 lifter and then they changed and the cup IS in fact different.

I will check later
