ls1 swap

Hey guys I wonder about how hard wouid it be to put a ls1 in a 94 z.Would the a4 in mine bolt up to a ls1. how hard would all boltons such a/c p. be? please enlighten me on the hard numbers as to cost. An which block would be the best. thanks for your replies.

It isnt too difficult if you can get your hands on the k member too. The cost can vary.... the swap would cost more than if you took the money you spent on buying the parts and the money from selling your lt1 car and get one with an ls1 in it to begin with. I saw someone swap a used ls1 with mid number miles and tranny into a 3rdgen and it cost him 5500$.... with him doing almost all the work himself.

I think your better off just buying a newer car with a LS-1 already in it!

I have done two v-8 swaps in S-10 trucks, its not cheap nor for the faint of heart!

wouldn't it be cheaper to build a 383 stroker LT1?? Less labor to.

Just looking down the line, I like the car I have, the paint is super and int. this in ex. cond. So just looking at the diff. ways to go. but then you look at the new camaro going in 09.
