The GMS Z06 MAF is programmed for an LT1.

That is what I would use if I were going to run MAF on my LT1.

But.... he has the capibility to program his PCM.. to why waste $75 on the GMS/LS1Speed one.... ($150+ Vs $85)

If you're going to get a Z06 one and have the capibility to program your PCM yourself..... then just get the GM Z06 replacement one... cost me $85 shipped to my door... and another $20 for the correct pigtail to connect it to the wiring harness (from Kevin @ Ramchargers)...

Ok, I didn't realize the Z06 MAF from GM was that cheap. We have programming capability here as well. My friend purchased it for his LT1 swap into his 82 Trans Am. I myself am running my 95 LT1 in Speed Density mode.

Exactly.. $85 for a MAF.. you can't beat it...plus if it ever goes bad again all I've got to do is go to any GM dealer.... and I'm all set, unlike the LS1speed/GMS version...

But for people who want a bolt-on ony thing and don't want to mess with the rest of it, that's cool.

Don't take me as being rude earlier... I was one of the first to ever run a Z06 MAF on a LT1 car... and you have no idea how frustraiting it is to talk to people about it... because no one listens...

Ya, for someone that just needs to bolt on a MAf, I guess that is a decent price.

I know how it feels to talk about something that you know and no one listens to you. Happens to me all the time.
