Question LS1 K&N FIPK on an LT1? How can it be done?

I have been seeing several LT1's on the net using an LS1 K&N FIPK, I was wondering what changes would have to be made so someone could use an LS1 K&N FIPK on an LT1?

Thanks,

Chris

i think it would work, but how good is it really? a friend has one on his ls1 and the metal plate that the filter sits on get really hot. hes swapping it out for something else. but is the ls1 cai much of a gain over the lt1 cai?
