LS1 air box and fast toys ram air on an LT1 car??

Hi, Ive been looking for info on this, and sence the search function is down I can't search for it. If anyone is running this setup do you have to run an ultra Z hood with this setup or can you run the stock hood? The only 2 cars that Ive seen using the LS1 setup are running the ultra Z hood. If anyone has any info let me know. Thanks alot.

When I still had my '96 3.8 I asked hp salvage about an LS1 swap and they said that you would have to run an LT1 type intake setup because the hood didn't have enough clearance to run the LS1 system.

From what I've been told, you would have to run an ultra Z hood, plus you'd have to hack up some of the radiator support to get it to fit.
