Ok so I am just checking everything over before I put my 85 Z with LT1 swap onto the road, thus completing the swap!!!

Check with mechincal gauges the oil fuel and vacuum.

Results

Oil pressure 25psi cold start, drops to about 7 after warming up. (new oil pump, proper oil level, 10W-30 mobil1 (alittle light?)) It comes back up to 25psi with the RPM, but doesn't climb much higher the almost 30psi when Im over 3K.

Fuel pressure 80psi ???? WTF , Im running an LS1 pump, but I thought they were only 50ish PSI, figure the stock regulator is toast, yes?

Vacuum is the only one that looks good 20" at idle.


Any help onthe Oil and fuel pressure will be appreciated. I think the only thing short of a tear down, would be to try a heavier (20W-50 redline or mobil1) any suggestions on that? heads are rebuilt as well and it isn't leaking and compression is good as well.
