Low Oil Pressure

hey guys i need to know if i have a problem or not. my oil pressure is reading around 30 psi at the most while driving at times. is this normal? please let me know what yours reads and if i possibly have a bigger problem or not.

Where is it at warm idle, and WOT? Before you do anything, replace the sending unit, it might be bad. Normal pressure for an LT1 is around 40ish warm cruise, 45+ WOT, 20ish warm idle.

Thanks Jason. The numbers you gave sound about like what mine reads. It just seemed a little low to me. Mainly because my '87 IROC holds about 60 at cruise. Thanks though! Any other replies are still welcome though.

My pressure seemed to go up a little when i went to WIX filters , i am not trying to start a debate but it did make a little difference for me

You may be on to something with that filter deal. I had just changed the oil when I noticed it was lower that what I remembered it ever being. I used the AC PF454 which is shorter than the PF25 that it superceded. I thought I'd get better pressure with the shorter filter but maybe something has been redesigned in there. BTW I use Mobil 1 10w30 if this helps anyone to better respond to this post.
