Low oil light
Low oil light
Low oil light appeared, oil changed 500 miles ago ... no leak apparent underneath car. Oil pressure is really good, in fact maybe a little to high, but its never hit a dry spot or dropped. Could it be in the tuning or do i need a new sensor? This is the first time its came on and it was only idleing. Any suggestions are appreciated.

For what's it worth, I would replace the sensor. My water level sensor failed and the light stayed on. I disconnected the sensor which cleared the light about a year ago. A new sensor is $50. I developed a slow water leak that I didn't notice until the engine overheated. Now I am rebuilding the engine sooner that I wanted, but ...

I know the oil level is fine, so go-figure.... It just worries me.
