I was able to watch it by typing in your user name and looking through your posts. Unfortunately im not the guy whose comment you need. Im guessing you gained a a fair bit given its better by clamping your hose(if it bleed to 0 in 2 seconds vs 8 seconds is a large percentage of leakage stopped) May point me to a pinhole in that line in your tank but I have no idea how quickly a checkvalve bleeds when failed. Or even if somehow the extra pressure from having line clamped would help checkvalve close( no idea how its working in a fuel pump). On my phone your last post did not create a link so not sure if anyone else will be able to watch without typing your user name into search bar as I did(I often have to do that from my phone as most links wont allow me to view for some reason)

Re: low fuel pressure

Finally got it fixed. Bought a used fuel pump assembly and now it hold pressure and starts right up. Still not sure what it is that was wrong because i replaced the whole unit. Level sensor and lines. Everything that you drop into the tank and bolt up.

Re: low fuel pressure

Likely the flex hose inside the tank was leaking. If you submerge the pump in a 5 gallon bucket of water and apply power/ground you can check it pretty easily.

Re: low fuel pressure

Would submerging it in the water be good if i fixed the hose and used it sometime down the road?

Re: low fuel pressure

It won't hurt the pump to put it in water to test it if that's what you're asking. You may want to spray a little WD40 on the hanger hinge to keep it from rusting if you're going to let it sit for a while though.
