Low Coolant Sensor

I just bought a low coolant sensor for the radiator at the dealer. $47. Darn it, the light still comes on. Radiator is full. Help??

Any ideas?

Not sure man, did you install it properly? My sensor went to but I just pulled the dummy light out of the speedo. You can always tell if your low on coolent from your tempreture sensor.

Low coolant sensor

Just removed 2 prong harness, removed metal u-clip, replaced with new one, secured clip, plugged harness back in. Even added more coolant. Thing is, there are no leaks and even started car without cap on and saw coolant coming up to top of radiator when car started to warm up. So I know coolant is flowing into sensor.

If the sensor is not covered with coolant, the light will come on. The radiator should be full to the top. Check it again when it is cool and if it is not to the top, fill it up. Open the bleed screws as you fill to purge any air.

Make sure you bleed it.
