whats up man I have lous short stick with the pro 5.0 shifter and i love it. I got it installed a couple weeks ago. Its probably one of the best mods i've done to my car. From what i know theirs only two places that sells it:

afterthoughtsauto.com (this is where i bought mine from)

You may want to look in at the different styles/version's the Lou's short stick comes in to optimize the different aftermarket shifters......... the $28.00 deal appears to be a straight/shorten rod which does not compare to what Lou's version for the aftermarket Hurst/ Pro 5.0 short stick

I got the Lou's from afterthoughts and I recomend buying from there. You can get he black one for 48 I believe, but I recomend lou if the 28 dollar one doesnt have a bend, like someone else said. The reason they are bent is because of the clearance on the even gears (if it wasnt bent, it would most likely be hitting the console). Other than that, they are awesome, they really do shorten the throw, probably not as much as a 5.0 would or anything. THe good thing about Lous is that you can add it on to other shifters to shorten the throw even more

Thanks

Thanks for all your help i think i am going to order mine from afterthoughts.com. But i am not sure what Hurst I have, I bought it off some guy and he didn't know if it was the stock Hurst or the aftermarket one. Is there any way for me to tell which one it is. I am guessing its the aftermarket one because when we took it off it looked like someone had but locktight on the bolts. Please Help
