Loudmouth sounds like booty

I has my uncle's muffler man put the loudmouth on my 94z. I knew it would prolly sound bad with the resinator on it so i had them put a bullet style muff in its place. They didn't have the 12" dynomax race bullets, they only had a brand called Rush. They threw that on and it doesn't sound much better than it did. Will the dynomax race bullet make it sound better? I hated it so much that I just opened up the cut-out. Pretty sad that the day ytou get an exhaust you open up the cut out so you don't have to hear something you paid 300 for.
Thanks,
Brandon

94z vert with 227/233 cc, 1.6 nsa, slp cai, loudmouth

I like the way Flowmaster sounds, the only thing is they flow about as much as a stock muffler does.

Loudmouth is gonna sound like crap anyway, no matter wht you put on it, if you're like me. If you want the exhaust as loud as possible, then the Loudmouth is for you. If you want the exhaust mellow with a nice tone, then you've chosen the wrong exhaust...

flowmaster

why would people say that flowmaster is crap? I think flowmaster sounds the best of all aftermarket exhaust systems, and the price is right too.

Blah, that crap about Flowmaster being as good as stock is just stupid. Flowmaster may not be the best flowing muffler in the entire market, but it's definitely not along the lines of a stock muffler. I still stand by my opinion that Flowmaster is one of the best SOUNDING mufflers though. But oh well, I got dual Bullets and couldn't be happier. I have never heard the DynoMouth setup in person, but I've heard the LM, and thought it was nice. If you can't bring yourself to liking it, maybe you should try SLP's Two on the Left setup. That sounds very nice as well.

I think the loudmouth sounds badass. It was almost too loud for me. I had flowmaster and then switched to the loudmouth. I got some noticeable topend but no power down low, but i didn't put the resonator on i just left it straight pipe if that has anything to do with it. The only thing i liked about was the sound, sounded mean as hell. You could hear me coming. I kept it about a month, then put flowmaster back on. I love the flow sound too, although it is not near loud enough, but it has lots of low end torque with it.

The thing about the Loudmouth is it doesnt have a muffler. Just a resononator. Damn stright its gonna be loud! Flowmaster is the BEST sound in my opinion but I dont think its the best performance. I REALLY REALLY want to try a B&B Triflo!

When will people learn. Loudmouth sounds like crap. There's no other way to fix the sound unless you get a new catback.

The GMMG exhaust unit sounds bad A#@!! My second vote would go with Borla (straight pipe) in there somewhere. I chatted with a guy that modified his Power Affects to fit on a Z28 and he metioned that it was the best sounding system!
