running the pipe out the back will get rid of some interior noise as well as vibration

I run a 3" dual setup with x pipe - no cats no mufflers.. it dumps just before the rear axle. Really it's not that bad though it is probably one of the loudest cars in town.. cops have never bothered me though. When I have my gf drop me off at class I'm am always amazed as I *hear* it pull away from the stop light several blocks away

I had bullets on it at one time and they didn't seem to do anything but make the exhaust heavy as hell.

I originally had a flowmaster 80 series on my car. The sound was great on it, not loud at all really but enough to be heard a little. When I installed the mac headers, carsound highflow cat, and slp loudmouth, the sound is at least 10x louder. at idle its only slightly louder than the 80 series, it almost gives it a lopier sound. at around 2-3k it sounds great, I had passed a friend on the highway unknowingly and he said the car sounded kickass, especially when I started accelerating.

now, wide open throttle... it's insanely loud. theres a small stretch of rural highway next to my house. at the start of it its a little over a mile from my house (theres dense woods in between, so its not like theres nothing obstructing the sound either.) my dad heard me launch it there.
"I heard you catch 1st, I heard you catch 2nd, and then I heard you pull through at least half of third."

I like how XR-1 sounds. Mine is really loud with shorties and cam. With LT's it will be better

I've always LOVED the Borla cat-back and always knew that it was a pricey. I just went to their website and saw their price: $884.99

http://www.borla.com/automotive/?mak...T&year=1993-95

What?? Isn't that more like an GMMG price?

You should be able to get borla way cheaper than that. Never go by a companies listed price
