Lost Coolant Bleeder Screw!

So, after neglecting some basic maintenance for too long, last night I had everything buttoned up, finished doing my intake leak fix, plug change, K&N filter cleaning/oiling, fuel filter change. I was ready to start flushing the cooling system with distilled water, had all the connections in place. Fired the engine up (after priming the fuel system a few times), and she fired right up! I was so happy. Then I get out and look, and coolant is pulsing out of one hoses at the bleeder screw location, because I had evidently loosened one of the bleeders screws too far.

I looked everywhere (engine bay, on the engine, under the car), high and low, and can't find it. It is not on the floor anywhere I can see, so I'm assuming it is hanging out somewhere, and will probably fall out on the road sometime.

Anyway, are these little screws pretty standard? Can I pick one up at Autozone or NAPA? Or am I hosed, if you'll pardon the pun?

Help, please. My car has been down for too long while I did the intake fix and all this other maint. stuff (at least I did the TB bypass as part of the deal). I want to drive her again.

No problem, every thread that gets started here generates opinions from
board member and search results for someone who may not have otherwise
found their answer.

For a short term fix you can just use a 3/8 pipe thread plug.

The dealership right up the street has one on hold for me. $6.54. Not too bad, but still frustrating since it was just a dumb mistake. Kinda like taking $6.54 flushing it down the john.

Oh well. Lesson learned.
