Loss of power up high (5000 rpm range)

When im giviner...the car "sputters" at like 4500-5500 rpm...i dont know what the hell is causing this

it'll stop pulling...pull again...stop...pull...stop...pull

any help guys?

sounds like it could be a fuel delivery problem, have you changed your fuel filter lately?...try running some fuel injector cleaner thru it and see if it helps

Fuel delivery but could it also be a spark issue?

My car was doing the same thing, I replaced the spark plug wires and plugs and its fine now. Good luck

I am actually having similar problems, I replaced the coil with an MSD Blaster Coil that didnt help. I changed the fuel filter yesterday havent tested it yet put I hope it does the trick.....man it would be nice to have a fuel pressure guage

i replaced plugs and wires about a year ago (maybe 15,000km / 10,000 miles)

its always been there...hasnt gotten worse i think

opti maybe, thats wut im doing after mine started running rough and stopped pulling all the sudden. look into that and then get get delteq or ltcc or sumthing. replace whatever with sumthin better and ur good to go

i dont think its the opti...that was replaced about a year ago and it was doing it then too

i think it might be the knock sensor...gonna put a new one in maybe tomorrow and ill let you guys know how it goes
