Loss in power, SES code...

I've noticed when pulling from under 2000 rpm in 4th or 5th gear the engine bogs down and doesn't come back to life until 2000-2500 rpm range. When I stomp the gas it'll wind up, but then it just hits this dead spot. This car has a brand new opti, fuel pump and filter. I also get a 1416 code- faulty egr temperature sensor- I'm starting to think this is related to the loss in power at low rpms. This is my first camaro and I've only had it for three months, so this is all uncharted territory for me. Anyway, hope some of you can point me in the right direction...

Re: Loss in power, SES code...

Is that supposed to be a P1416? If it is, it doesn't have anything to do with the EGR. It's the code for a secondary air injection problem on the passenger side.
